हिमालय में मिला हठयोग का ज्ञान
सच्चे गुरु की तलाश करते-करते वे हिमालय की कंदराओं में चले गए और वहां 13 साल तक कठोर साधना की.हठयोग और क्रिया योग का ज्ञान उन्हें हिमालय की कंदराओं में निवास करने वाले सिद्ध महापुरुषों से ही मिला. ब्रह्मज्ञान की जिस तलाश में उन्होंने हिमालय में कठोर तपस्या की थी, उसकी प्राप्ति होते ही, दुनिया को इस ज्ञान से परिचय कराने हेतु हिमालय से निकलकर वे भारत भ्रमण पर निकले.
