Taslima Nasrin is a Bangladeshi-Swedish author and physician, who has written many novels, columns, and books on Islam, which have been termed controversial by many Muslim fundamentalists. She was discarded by Bangladesh and West Bengal governments in India. Nasrin considers herself a secular humanist, feminist, and activist.
