While studying in Williamson, he made many friends but later thought that college was not right for him and withdrew his name from the college. Niranjan Iyengar is an Indian screenwriter and lyricist. He was born in Anand, India. He mostly works with the director Karan Johar. He has written many screenplays for his films. Few of them are ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ in , ‘My Name is Khan’ in and lyrics for Chammak Challo song from the film ‘Ra One’ - He is the author of the book ‘The Making of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’.
He’s also the host of the show ‘Look, who’s talking with Niranjan’ on Zee Café.
