Jennifer Lawrence to get star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

The Louisville native and Academy Award-winning actress found out this week she joins actor Mark Hamil (aka Luke Skywalker) in being selected for a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Locally, fans of Lawrence and her Hunger Games franchise were recently invited to the Power of One Pajama Party, July 13 at the Frazier History Museum to support the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation. Its mission is to promote arts awareness and positively impact the lives of young people, artists and the organizations that serve them.

Lynda Carter is open to making a guest appearance in any future Wonder Woman movies.
The year-old actress, who famously portrayed the Amazonian warrior princess in a s TV series of the same name, didn’t make an appearance in the smash hit movie, starring Gal Gadot in the lead role, earlier this year.
However, Carter insists it was just a matter of the timing not working out, and she is definitely keen on trying to work something out with director Patty Jenkins so she can show her face in the movie follow-up.
“We were trying to get me in the first one and we couldn’t make it work with our timing,” Carter told People. “It really is up to Patty, and if it works in an organic way it’ll be great fun and it’ll be wonderful to do.
