After the verbal-bashing between her and IC Mendoza, Candy Pangilinan extended her deep apology to IC and his mother, Dolly Anne Carvajal.
Candy also wants to spare her son from getting involved in her personal issues.
The issue cropped up when IC, host of TV5’s `Juicy Express,’ issued a statement on an incident where Candy supposedly hurled insults and cuss words at him in a bar when he approached Candy and her company to ask about updates on the actress- comedienne. Candy, who was drunk at that time, lashed out at IC by saying negative things about him and his network.
In a statement released to `Showbiz News Ngayon’ last August 3, Candy apologized to IC and said her pain comes from media attacks against her, including her son, who is a special child.
“My son is a special child and it hurt me so much that he has been looked down on by many already to begin with, and some members of the media affiliated with TV5 issued stories about us which, for me, were uncalled for,” the statement reads.
In an interview with ‘The Buzz,’ Candy said she found it ironic that the media attacks against her and her son hurt her as much as it also hurt another son, IC.
